Research: SONY Bravia Advert

"Animation or Film?" : This advert helps illustrate my point over why I would prefer to use an animation instead of a film for my final piece. Animation contributes to a piece of work by allowing the artist/photographer to be in full control over what happens in the piece and the impossible is made possible making an animation more playful than a recorded film. What do I mean by the "impossible made possible"? If you watch the SONY Bravia advert you will notice the stop motion creatures in the short film was only made possible through the technique of animation, which wouldn't have been achieved by filming it from a video camera.
